After the exciting and energetic day of sailing on Wednesday we forewent the previously planned Hunter Valley trip and took it easy (again).
Chuck and managed to sneak down to the beach in between naps to find a lull in the strong waves and spent an hour or so taming the sea before heading back to the apartment for a second nap.
At around 6pm we headed up to the Dee Why RSL (Retired Serviceman's League) for a quick drink - why didn't you tell us about the cheap alcohol sooner, Helen? - and, when we realized they had gaming machines, Michelle and Chuck managed to make AU$250 between before we headed downstairs for bowling. Helen proved to be the best of the 5 of us - with a whopping 3 consecutive strikes. We think she secretly practices on a regular basis and then lures unsuspecting visitors up to the RSL for what they think will be an easy win.
Then it was off to the Wild Water Grill for Empatadas before heading back to Helen's for the last of episode of Season 2 of Always Sunny in Philadelphia and a couple of G&Ts.
